What is a HydraFacial Treatment?

Before_After1081418-768x459HydraFacial is a hydradermabrasion procedure that uses vortex-fusion technology to cleanse, exfoliate and hydrate, leaving skin clearer and more radiant in little to no downtime.

Whether you’re prepping for a special occasion or want to improve your skin’s appearance, HydraFacials will make your skin feel rejuvenated and give you a refreshed look.

Benefits of a HydraFacial

The three-step HydraFacial treatment cleans, exfoliates, and extracts to remove dead cells and impurities while providing the skin with vital nutrients like antioxidants, peptides and hyaluronic acid to nourish your skin. HydraFacial is suitable for all skin types — normal, oily, combination, dry, and aging — so you don’t have to question whether getting this treatment is right for you.

Here are some of the benefits of receiving a HydraFacial:

  • Diminishes the look of fine lines and wrinkles
  • Reduces appearance of pore size
  • Improves firmness and feel
  • Helps smooth skin texture
  • Helps even out the skin for a radiant tone
  • Gives you the famous “HydraFacial glow”

How HydraFacial Works

Since HydraFacials are non-invasive, you can receive specific other skincare treatments in conjunction with a HydraFacial. When combined with Dermaplane or LED light therapy, you’ll be on your way to achieving your ideal skincare goals. Ask your esthetician about which pairing is right for you.

Cleanse

Step #1: Cleanse

Deeply cleanse and soften the skin to help loosen dead skin cells and prep for extractions. Follow with a gentle chemical peel exfoliation in a choice of strengths to reveal new skin.

Extracting with Hydrafacial Facelogic

Step #2: Extract

Remove dirt and debris from pores with painless suction to clear skin congestion while replenishing the skin with intense moisturizers.

Moisturizing with Hydrafacial Facelogic

Step #3: Hydrate

Apply antioxidants and nourishing peptides to lock in moisture for beautiful, radiant-looking skin.

Getting a HydraFacial to Diminish the Look of Fine Lines and Wrinkles

Getting a HydraFacial can help reduce the look of fine lines and wrinkles on your face. It delivers a powerful combination of cleansing, exfoliation, hydration and antioxidant protection. A HydraFacial also helps remove dead skin cells, promotes collagen production and stimulates blood flow to your skin, and that can help reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

How HydraFacials Reduce Pore Size Appearance

HydraFacial Treatments can help reduce the appearance of enlarged pores by gently removing dirt, oil and other impurities in your skin. These impurities can clog your pores and make them appear larger. HydraFacial treatments can also help improve you are skin’s overall texture and tone, and that can further minimize the appearance of your pores.

How a HydraFacial Can Improve Your Skin’s Firmness and Feel

A HydraFacial can help make your skin feel firmer by promoting collagen production and delivering dehydration. These treatments can help plump up your skin, smoothing out fine lines and wrinkles — and they can even help improve your skin’s elasticity.

HydraFacials to Smooth Out Your Skin’s Texture

HydraFacials can help smooth out uneven skin texture by removing dead skin cells, unclogging your pores and promoting cell turnover. Many people report that having a HydraFacial treatment reveals smoother, brighter and more radiant skin.

Getting a HydraFacial to Even Out Your Skin

Many facial treatments can help even out your skin tone, and HydraFacials are one of them. These treatments may reduce the appearance of dark spots, hyperpigmentation and other discolorations, but there may be other treatments that are more effective if this is your primary concern. You should talk to an esthetician about your concerns; your esthetician can give you the guidance you need.

The HydraFacial Glow

The HydraFacial is known for giving people a unique glow. That’s because it deeply cleans, hydrates and nourishes your skin, and that leaves you looking refreshed, rejuvenated and absolutely radiant.

You should talk to your esthetician about how often you should get HydraFacials. That's because everyone's skin is different. For most people, it's fine to have one every four to six weeks to maintain optimal skin health and appearance. But if you have more specific skin concerns, you may need more frequent treatments to get the results you want.

HydraFacial Treatments can be good for acne prone skin. Because this treatment can help unclog pores, remove dead skin cells and reduce inflammation, which can all contribute to acne, it may help clear up pimples. HydraFacials also deliver a combination of antioxidants and hydrating serums, which can also help. However, HydraFacials alone may not be enough to clear up severe or cystic acne, so you may need to combine them with other acne treatments and a good skin care routine.

The most important thing to know is you’re going to get the opportunity to relax! For best results, think about what your objective is and be ready to communicate that to your esthetician. Knowing key ingredients in your current skincare products will also help your esthetician advise any changes that should be made. Are you looking for anti-aging results? Do you have acne you would like to clear up? During your consultation, your esthetician will help you pinpoint exactly what type of facial you need, based on your objectives.

Monthly facials are ideal because the outermost layer of visible skin will completely renew itself approximately every 28 days. In this time your skin cells are constantly being replicated from the treated cells to replace the old cells. If you commit to monthly facials, your skin cells will begin to replicate the now healthier cells, giving you an overall better complexion.

Any form of peels, high frequency, microneedling are advised against while pregnant, breastfeeding, or trying to become pregnant.

Facials benefit all adults, men and women! Teens can also benefit as their skin starts to change and can get a facial as early as 13 years old with a parent’s consent.

Clients with hyperpigmentation, concerns about aging, and acne scarring would benefit from a chemical peel.

Yes, if you are a suitable candidate and have no contraindications. Your Esthetician will help you determine what is best for your skin. We always start clients with a Vitamin C Enzyme peel to see how their skin reacts before moving to more aggressive chemical peels.

There's no evidence to suggest that HydraFacial is unsafe during pregnancy, but you should consult with your doctor before you have any cosmetic treatments while pregnant.

Using a vitamin C serum after a HydraFacial can be beneficial. However, you may want to wait at least 24 hours after the treatment. You should talk to your esthetician before you leave.

Our Elite Facial would be best so our esthetician can customize a facial to treat the hormonal acne with our Eminence Organics Eight Greens line which is specifically designed to treat hormonal imbalance skin.

Yes. Extractions will remove blackheads which are included with all of our 50 minute facials.

Clients must stop using retinol or retin-A products for at least 72 hours before these treatments to avoid adverse reactions.

Microneedling is a state of the art procedure that stimulates your skin’s natural ability to produce new collagen. New collagen production can reverse years of sun damage, reduce fine lines and wrinkles, change skin tone and texture, reduce appearance of acne scars, hyperpigmentation, as well as enhance the overall appearance of the skin.

We require a 24 hour notice ahead of the scheduled appointment time if one would need to cancel or reschedule their appointment in order to avoid a $25 fee.

If a client is over 15 minutes late to their scheduled appointment time, we are unable to perform services as the therapist would be late for their next appointment. For airbrush tanning appointments only, this window is shortened to 5 minutes late because these appointments are only 15 minutes in length. If you are running late to your appointment, please give us a call and we would be happy to reschedule.
